Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Introduction
Mazentric respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This notice explains how we process personal information when you use this website, contact us, request a demo, or engage with us about our products and technology solutions.
This notice is intended to support transparent processing in line with applicable data protection law, including South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). It does not replace engagement-specific privacy terms that may apply when we work with a client.
2. Who Mazentric Is
Mazentric is a South African AI and technology company. We build software and AI products for businesses and work with organisations to design and implement AI, data and technology solutions. For personal information collected through this website, Mazentric generally acts as the responsible party.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- identity and contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number;
- professional details, such as your company, job title, industry and company size;
- enquiry details, project descriptions and demo requirements;
- communications you send to us and our responses;
- basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, which may include a network address used transiently to limit repeated form submissions; and
- subscription preferences if a marketing subscription service is made available.
Please do not submit sensitive or confidential information unless it is necessary and we have agreed an appropriate way to receive it.
4. How Information Is Collected
We collect information directly from you when you complete a form, email or call us, request a demo, schedule a meeting, or otherwise communicate with us. Limited technical information may also be generated automatically when your browser requests website content. If you use an enabled third-party scheduling service, that provider may collect information under its own privacy terms.
5. Purposes for Processing
We may process personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
- arrange consultations, demonstrations and meetings;
- assess a potential project or business relationship;
- deliver products, services and agreed client work;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and systems;
- maintain appropriate business and enquiry records;
- send requested updates and manage subscription preferences; and
- meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
6. Grounds for Processing
The ground used depends on the context. We may process information with your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with a legal obligation, or where processing protects a legitimate interest and does not unjustifiably affect your rights. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it, although earlier lawful processing will remain valid.
7. Website Forms
Information submitted through our contact and demo forms is used to review and respond to your request. Form submissions may be stored in Mazentric's configured database and sent to the Mazentric team through a transactional email provider. Required fields are limited to information needed to handle the enquiry and reduce misuse of the forms.
8. Communications and Enquiries
We use the contact details you provide to respond and to follow up on the subject of your enquiry. An ordinary business enquiry does not automatically enrol you in promotional marketing. If we offer marketing subscriptions, the decision to subscribe is separate and you may unsubscribe at any time.
9. Service Providers and Third Parties
We may use service providers to support website hosting, databases, email delivery, scheduling, communications and related business operations. Their processing is also governed by the relevant provider terms, agreements and applicable law. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legitimate rights, or in connection with a properly managed business transaction.
We do not sell personal information. Confirmed website integrations are described in our Cookie Policy.
10. Cross-Border Processing
Some service providers or technology systems may process or store information outside South Africa. Where cross-border processing applies, Mazentric will consider the requirements of applicable law and use appropriate contractual, technical or organisational safeguards where required. The relevant arrangements may also be addressed in client-specific agreements and architecture decisions.
11. Data Security
Mazentric seeks to apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the relevant risks. Depending on the system, these measures may include access controls, authentication, secure handling of credentials, encryption, environment separation, logging and recovery measures where appropriate. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet legal and regulatory requirements. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the relationship and applicable obligations. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, destroyed or de-identified where reasonably practicable and legally appropriate.
13. Cookies and Similar Technologies
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. A configured third-party scheduling service may use cookies when its scheduling experience is loaded or used. See our Cookie Policy for current details.
14. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to POPIA and any applicable limitations, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, request correction or deletion of inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out-of-date, incomplete, misleading or unlawfully obtained information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
15. Access, Correction and Deletion Requests
Send a request to info@mazentric.co.za with enough detail for us to identify the relevant information and understand your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Applicable law may permit or require us to retain certain records or refuse part of a request. We will explain the basis where legally required.
16. Objections and Complaints
You may object to processing in circumstances recognised by applicable law. Please contact us first at info@mazentric.co.za so that we can assess and address your concern. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator.
17. Privacy Contact
Privacy requests and enquiries about Mazentric's handling of personal information can be sent to info@mazentric.co.za.
18. Information Regulator
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). Current guidance and the official complaints process are available at inforegulator.org.za/complaints.
19. Changes to This Notice
We may update this notice when our website, products, services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and its last updated date will be published on this page.
